Head Worldcup Rebels i.Race review 2020
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
This category is oriented towards performance and fun, and the Head Worldcup Rebels i.Race did not disappoint the testers.
All of the testers were impressed by the liveliness of the ski: “snappy turn initiation,” “grippy,” “phenomenal edge-to-edge transfers.” You can go fast “and still feel incredibly safe.”
The ski is at its best when it is on the edge. It can then go into the turn easily and carve effortlessly. It can get radical edge angles and, according to the testers, allows you to “touch your hip on the snow on each turn.” Edge hold and precision in the turns are amazing.
The WC Rebels i.Race is easy to handle and offers a great compromise between performance and accessibility. Its medium turn radius, somewhere between a slalom and GS turn, makes it pretty versatile, as long as you are doing carved turns.
The ski wants to dig in and take big edge angles. Turning on a flat ski in a skidded turn is more difficult because of the large catchy tail. Going for a “cruise” on the slopes is not its cup of tea.
The Worldcup Rebels i.Race’s ability to create huge edge angles, its precision, ease of use, and the feeling of security it brings make it a total blast to ski on. The testers were full of praise: “Super ski,” “very good ski,” “a delight.” We recommend the WC Rebels i.Race to advanced skiers who want a lively carving ski.

Who's it for?
Manufacturer's remarks
An expert ski for aggressive and precise turns. The unique sandwich construction and piezoelectric system make the ski a weapon on the race course. Equipped with KERS (or Kinetic Energy Recovery System), a piezoelectric system, the ski stores energy created with speed and releases it at the end of each turn.
