The Salomon S/ Force range is geared towards all-round performance. The skis have a slight tip rocker and slightly wider waists, which vary from 76 mm to 84 mm. The S/Force 11 that we tested is a top of the range ski and was tested in the Cruisers category. We should point out that it is reinforced by a double layer of Titanal.

In this category, we are looking for consistency and versatility above all, and the S/Force 11 clearly fulfills these criteria!

The overall performance is excellent, and the ski is very accessible. It is an easy, reliable, and confidence-inspiring ski. It is very docile and does what the skier asks.

It is also quite a versatile ski, performs well in all areas, and in all types of turns. The testers were impressed by how “snappy” it was in the turn. Its relatively wide waist (80mm) and rocker make it comfortable in variable terrain.

The S/ Force 11 is very predictable, and some testers were disappointed by its lack of character, especially in small turns.

It is an awesome all-round ski that fulfills the criteria of this category. It is like an all-terrain vehicle for groomers. It is not the most responsive ski, but it is comfortable in all types of terrain. We recommend it to intermediate to very advanced skiers looking for a smooth and predictable ski.
