Nordica Dobermann Spitfire TI FDT review 2019

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

The Doberman Spitfire TI FDT spits fire... It may be a bit too much for this category where we're looking for skis that lower level skiers can handle.

This ski is really dynamic. Turn initiation, edge-to-edge transfer, precision in carved turns, and stability are all excellent. A "good carving ski," it holds the line even at high speed and allows the skier to take big edge angles.

Despite its many qualities, the Dobermann Spitfire TI FDT does not fit into this category. It is too technical and demanding for beginners or intermediate skiers. On the other hand, it is an excellent ski for skiers who have already mastered skidded parallel turns and want to learn to carve or improve their carving skills.

Review: Pros

  • Overall performance

Manufacturer's remarks

This ski is serious fun! The incredibly versatile DOBERMANN SPITFIRE Ti is equipped with the best technology to ensure you have blast. Combining a slalom tip with a GS waist, the Spitfire is lightning quick in the fall line and has rock solid edge grip in every type of turn.
The skis are accessible, but at the same time precise and powerful. The new ‘Recoil Power Plate’, developed exclusively with Marker, is inspired by the World Cup plate, the Marker Piston. It facilitates energy transmission and increases the flexibility of the ski.
